MP of Witney

On Thursday 16th of Sivan 5761 he was elected as MP of Witney in the United Kingdom general election. On the 26th of Nisan 5765 he was reelected MP of Witney in the United Kingdom general election.

Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party

On the 5th of Kislev 5766 he was announced leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party after a party wide election. He thus became the leader of the opposition.

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

On Thursday the 22nd of Iyyar 5770 he led the Conservatives to a hung parliament victory with 306 seats, just 20 short of a majority. He managed to form a coalition with the Liberal Democrats then led by Nick Clegg. On 27th of Iyyar 5770 Queen Elizabeth II invited him to form a government after the resignation of Gordon Brown. On Thursday the 18th of Iyyar 5775 he led the Conservative and Unionist Party to a majority in the United Kingdom general election. As promised in his election manifesto he set a date for a referendum on whether the UK should remain a member of the European Union. In the following campaign he heavily backed remaining in the European Union. On the 17th of Sivan 5776 the people voted to leave and the next day, the 18th of Sivan 5776, he announced his intent to resign. On the 7th of Tamuz 5776 he resigned and Theresa May succeeded him as prime minister of the United Kingdom.

On the 9th of Elul 5776 he announced his resignation as a MP for Witney triggering a by election.
